Have you seen the new Holiday Mini Catalog yet? It has some wonderful stamp sets in it. Today I finally got some time to sit and play with 2 new sets. Everything used is SU unless I say otherwise.
Ingredients: Stamp set-Snowbursts
Paper: Cranberry Crisp & Whisper White Ink: Cranberry Crisp Ribbon: Cranberry Crisp double stitched. Oh I almost forgot the best part of this
card - I was able to use my new toy - The Silhouette (a digital craft cutter by Quickutz). It is awesome and after I get use to it I will post my samples. For now I was able to cut out the letters "JOY". Just notice how thin they are. They were cut out using adhesive backed paper. I painted crystal effects over it and sprinkled dazzling diamonds on for a little bling! In the centers of the snowbursts I dabbed crystal effects and again sprinkled them with glitter. One can never have too much glitter in their life. The white gel pen is my favorite and I love using it to add a little extra to cards. Here I used it to dot the end of the larger snowbursts. A very simple card ~ one you could easily make a ton of for Christmas!
My next card took me some time to finish as I saw a card on SCS by Faithyc that inspired me. I wasn't happy with my first version at all. After playing with it for a while I came up with this. Let me know what you think. As you can see mine turned out quite different from Faithyc's . I just love it.
Everything used was SU except the twine. I am not sure where that came from.
The Ingredients:
Stamp Sets: Autumn Harvest
Baroque Motifs, and Season by Season
Paper: Garden Green, Wasabi, Whisper White, & Watercolor paper.
Pumpkins are done with SU Markers and water pen
